p:ear provides individualized instruction in the area of GED preparation and other basic academic skills. Using current events and the passions of each p:ear student, we develop a framework for study that allows young people to interpret and analyze their life experiences as well as pursue their own intellectual interests. Recognizing that attaining a GED or further academic study is a decision that requires significant bravery and encouragement, p:ear also offers extensive academic support and counseling.

For p:ear students wishing to continue their education, we have developed relationships with Pacific Northwest College of Art, PSU and PCC. p:ear also assists students through the application process for admissions, financial aid and scholarships.
