Alongside their 2-D and 3-D works, will be the exquisite designs of Kirsten A. Moore. Her line, Piper Ewan, is inspired by vintage clothing of the Victorian era, Asian and Persian styles and fabrics and, in her words, “How I wanted to dress when I was seven.” Her emphasis is on craft and her work is fanciful, embellished and divine.

“Art has been the coping mechanism that allows us to turn our adversity into something positive, while validating our human need for self-expression over suppression and conformity.”

In conjunction with the gallery show, the p:ear annex, ½ block north of p:ear gallery, will feature an open mic and guest musicians, “The Professional Man” from 7pm - 9pm.

“Object & Embellishment” runs through February 23. Hours are First Thursday February 1, 6pm - 9pm or by chance or appointment.
