The p:ear Gallery is thrilled to present “Just because you feel it doesn’t mean it’s there” a stunning collection of work by Ryan Birkland and p:ear youth.
As one of p:ear’s longest standing champions in the Portland art community, Ryan is returning to the p:ear Gallery to bring a brand new collection of work. Utilizing salvaged windows for canvases, Ryan has generated a brilliant color palette that builds movement and a kind of three-dimensional abstract expressionist painting style.
With Ryan’s long history of supporting local non-profits and a global fan base pursuing his work, the p:ear Gallery invites you to join us for “Just because you feel it doesn’t mean it’s there” an evening of art and community.
p:ear’s unique Job Training Program, “Coffee Works” will also be open during the opening, with youth in the program serving complimentary espresso drinks and drip coffee.
Opening: 1st Thursday November 7th, 2019, 5pm – 8pm
Regular hours: Gallery visits available 9am-2pm Tue-Fri upon request or by appt.
