Shop Manager & Master Bike Mechanic:

Bike Works by p:ear is looking for a master mechanic and dynamic individual and mentor to manage, grow and drive our social purpose community bike shop. This position is two fold: As the master mechanic, you will be supporting Portland’s Eastside communities, providing low cost, low barrier access to bike education, repair and sales of refurbished bicycles and parts through our shop in East Portland. Secondly, you will serve as a mentor and educator for homeless youth at p:ear, working with our staff to connect with and build deep, meaningful relationships. You will need to facilitate excellent mechanical and professional practices in all aspects of this position. Bike Works is located at 16126 SE Stark St. in East Portland. p:ear is located at 338 NW 6th Ave. in Downtown Portland. Details to apply are listed in the job description below.
