Education Program Coordinator:
p:ear is seeking an Education Program Coordinator for a new, full-time position.
The selected candidate will be equity and trauma informed, autonomous and
proactive, and a creative thinker and organizer. A background and proficiency in
working with youth, facilitating small group dialogue and workshops, teaching,
developing and managing educational programming, and building community
partnerships is required.
The Education Program Coordinator will expand our capacity to provide p:ear’s
community-oriented educational offerings. This person is responsible for working
directly with youth as a mentor; creating education-based workshops, outings,
programming and activities; working closely with program volunteers, guest
teachers and other external community partners; maintaining and procuring
education supplies; representing p:ear in the community at events and trainings;
and, furthering p:ear’s mission by building meaningful and healthy relationships
with youth, volunteers, donors and community members.
