First Thursday – Maker’s Market!

Thursday, December 4, 2025
In-Person 5:00pm-8:00pm
p:ear Gallery

The Makers Market is more than a fundraiser—it’s a festive Holiday community gathering that brings people together to celebrate creativity, compassion, and connection.
This beloved annual event features:
- Youth-created art, crafts, and goods
- Live music performances by p:ear youth
- Local community vendors and artists
- Opportunities to connect with Portland’s creative and compassionate community
Each year, the Maker’s Market showcases one-of-a-kind, handcrafted items created by p:ear youth alongside work from local community artists. Proceeds from the event directly support p:ear’s art, skate, and music programs—initiatives that empower young people through creativity, self-expression, and mentorship.
This year, p:ear is calling on Portland artists to participate by creating original works on 12×12” wood panels, which will be sold during the market. Artists are encouraged to donate 50–100% of proceeds from their pieces, supporting p:ear’s programming.
Creativity is a critical tool for healing and growth, and the Makers Market is a celebration of what young people can achieve when they’re given access to tools, mentorship, and a platform to shine. All funds raised from the event support p:ear’s ongoing mission to build positive relationships with youth through education, art, recreation, and job training.
